RBC Capital Markets senkt Rating und Kursziel von Barrick Gold

Die Analysten von RBC Capital Market haben ihr Kursziel für den größten Goldproduzenten der Welt Barrick Gold (WKN 870450) von 70 auf 62 US-Dollar gesenkt und gleichzeitig auch ihr Rating von outperform auf sector perform herunter gesetzt.

Goldcorp erfüllt die Produktionsprognose für 2011

Der kanadische Goldproduzent Goldcorp (WKN 890493) hat die eigene Produktionsprognose für 2011 erfüllt. Das Unternehmen erzielte im vergangenen Jahr einen Goldausstoß von rund 2,515 Mio. Unzen und erwartet, dies 2012 auf 2,6 Mio. Unzen steigern zu können. Darüber hinaus erklärte Goldcorp, dass man ab 2016 mit einer Produktion von 4,2 Mio. Unzen Gold pro Jahr rechne. Die Cashkosten pro Unze sollten laut dem Unternehmen in den kommenden fünf Jahren unter 400 USD pro Unze Gold liegen.

Xstrata Copper, Goldcorp and Yamana Gold Inc. (“Yamana”) announced today that they have reached a definitive agreement providing Minera Alumbrera Limited Sucursal Argentina (“Minera Alumbrera”) the exclusive option to acquire Yamana’s 100% interest in the Agua Rica project. Agua Rica is a feasibility stage project in the province of Catamarca, Argentina, located approximately 35 kilometres from the currently operating Alumbrera mine.

GOLDCORP is pleased to declare its eighth monthly dividend payment for 2011 of $0.034 per share. Shareholders of record at the close of business on Thursday, August 18, 2011 will be entitled to receive payment of this dividend on Friday, August 26, 2011 resident individuals who receive dividends from Goldcorp after 2005 are entitled to an enhanced gross-up and dividend tax credit on such dividends.

Goldcorp Revenues increase 62%

GOLDCORP today reported operating cash flows before working capital changes1 of $717 million for the second quarter of 2011 based on gold production of 597,100 ounces at a total cash cost2 of $185 per ounce. Adjusted net earnings from continuing operations3 in the quarter increased to $420 million, or $0.52 per share, compared to $199 million, or $0.27 per share, in the second quarter of 2010. Reported net earnings from continuing operations were $489 million compared to $524 million in the second quarter of 2010.

USD oder 0,77 USD pro Aktie. Die hohen Goldpreise sieht der Konzern zudem als Anlass, seine Dividende um 20 Prozent zu erhöhen.

Rekordproduktion von 2,42 Millionen Unzen 2009

Während Goldcorp darauf wartet, ob das 277 Millionen USD schwere Übernahmeangebot für Canplats angenommen wird, meldet das kanadische Unternehmen für das vergangene Jahr eine Rekordgoldproduktion von 2,421 Millionen Unzen.
